The Sowerby Bridge Goose Gathering 25 Aug 2016
The organisation will use the funding to run a programme of workshops to create an illuminated parade through the streets of Sowerby Bridge, culminating in an outdoor community gathering. This will bring the community together to celebrate their resilience after surviving and supporting each other through the Boxing Day floods of 2015.

This project will use the funding to purchase and install disability-friendly playground equipment to increase accessibility and increase capacity for visitors. This will ensure the park remains attractive to local families and enhance the facilities for young people with disabilities.
Engaging Young People in Media Activities 13 May 2015
The group will use the funding to deliver radio broadcasting training sessions for young people who are experiencing the negative effects of social and economic disadvantage. This will equip those taking part with transferrable skills and create pathways to employment.
Frome Roller Disco: Skate Skills School 15 Jul 2015
The group will use the funding to purchase roller skating equipment to provide children at risk of health issues with roller skating sessions. This will increase community participation in physical and creative activities which have been designed to tackle identified health and well-being issues of local people.
Myaware South Wales Support Group will use the grant to provide further support to people living with myasthenia and their carers. They will also produce awareness packs to aid diagnosis for GP surgeries and clinics. This grant for Â£4,987 will fund regional conference costs, guest speakers, travel costs, support group meetings costs, clinic awareness packs, and ten benefits advice sessions.
