This charity will use the funding to run healthy food and cookery workshops for the benefit of vulnerable and disadvantaged families living locally. Health and well-being will be improved and opportunities for healthier eating will be enhanced.
The group will use the funding to provide learning and leisure opportunities for families within their community. This will celebrate community diversity and achievements and improve opportunities for families to enjoy activities.
The group will use the funding to provide one to one support and group based learning sessions for children and young people at risk of exclusion. This will improve the education attainment, well being and future prospects of the young people.

The group will use the funding to produce promotional material for their community festival. This will increase the groupâ€™s capacity to advertise the festival, enabling more beneficiaries to attend and benefit from the festival activities.
The group will use the funding to create an all weather outdoor play and learning environment for the benefit of the school children. This will encourage the children to socialise, take part in physical activity and facilitate outdoor learning.

The group will use the funding to recruit and train volunteers to enable them to support the delivery of a series of health and well being community festivals in their local area. This will support the training needs of volunteers and promote community cohesion.
The group will use the funding to create an outdoor classroom. This will improve an area that is currently under utilised and is not a safe and secure environment. This area will be used for outdoor learning, including developing the speaking and listening skills of children.
Families on the edge of destitution will receive tailored support so that they donâ€™t need to tell their stories multiple times to different agencies when they try to access help. The project will work with a network of 77 city-wide organisations who will refer vulnerable clients. Help will vary from meeting their basic needs through to longer-term support to stabilise their circumstances including accommodation and nutritional guidance for those at high risk of malnutrition.
