This group will use the funding to investigate the feasibility of redeveloping the ‘Letherby Triangle’ area of Mount Florida into a key civic space for the local community. The Triangle is approximately 50m long by 25m wide and is located directly opposite Mount Florida Primary School and adjacent to Hampden Stadium.

The funding will be used by a school to install a new climbing frame on the school’s playground. This will improve the school’s play facilities and provide continued access to physical play equipment for pupils.
Traidcraft recognised that they needed to conduct a deeper and participatory market assessment to deepen understanding of the markets in these sectors and knowledge and data on disabled people in the target regions.
Keeping Everything Under One Roof 26 Feb 2018
This group will use the funding to improve their facilities for the benefit of the community. The hall is used by twenty community groups and is hired out on an ad hoc basis.
The project will make improvements to a room so it can be used as a meeting and training venue for local community groups. This will improve the facility for community use in this rural area.
Crafty Little Devils 19 Apr 2017
Adults will be provided access to a variety of arts activities with this funding. This will prevent social isolation and loneliness by giving rurally isolated adults the opportunity to meet each other.

The group provides activities for adolescents and disadvantaged young people. They received a £9,900 grant to run activities to bring younger and older people together.
Roseacre "open space open mind " project 05 Apr 2017
The funding will be used by an academy to run an 11 month mental health and wellbeing programme aimed at key stage two children and their families.
The group will refurbish the village hall kitchen which will provide opportunities for people to come together and socialise, with the aim of reducing isolation.

This project will deliver a series of creative activities that will support people who are experiencing early onset dementia. This will improve the mental and physical wellbeing of people attending the sessions.
Every Family Matters 12 Jul 2017
This project will build on the work People in Partnership does to provide advocacy for parents with learning disabilities. The support available has been designed with parents, and aims to build their parenting skills and increase understanding of child protection and care proceedings. A new project worker will provide practical support and training for parents to reduce the risk of abusive relationships, unplanned pregnancies and social isolation.
This group will use the funding to deliver a lip reading course for people who are living with hearing issues. This will improve chances in life for people who are experiencing the effects of economic challenges.
Investing in OUR future 26 Mar 2018
The group will create a weekly youth hub at their community centre for young people aged 11 to 19 years. They will provide positive sports, recreational and educational activities, advice, support and mentoring for young people to help raise their aspirations and encourage them to become active members of the community.
This project will support people with disabilities to access benefits, advice and health services. Drop in sessions and specialist workshops will teach computer and digital skills, budgeting, CV writing, connecting to friends and research.
