Recipient Org: Description Friends of Bookham Commons (FBC) exists to benefit people and wildlife on Bookham Commons. Bookham Commons comprises Great Bookham Common and Banks Common and is located in Bookham in Mole valley. Established in 1989, FBC raises money for various projects on the Commons via annual membership subscription and activities such as a fundraising dinner. FBC aims to promote the facilities and the environment of the Commons, and to advance education of the public regarding the Commons and their ecology. The Friends of Bookham Commons have already installed a children's play area and put in paths. FBC has a management committee of 6 people and 175 members.
