| Recipient Org: Description | All Saints' Church is the only church in the village of Lightwater. It aims to be at the centre of village life, being involved with the local schools and voluntary organisations, helping to organise the village fete, and manages and runs All Saints' Church Hall for the benefit of the whole community._x000D_ The church hosts a wide range of groups including; the Darby & Joan Club, the WI, the Mothers' Union, Weight Watchers a Baby & Toddler Club and Sure Start, Sport and exercise classes, 7 units of Guides Brownies and Rainbows, a singing group, a country market, a meditation group, Baby massage, Patient Participation Group/Doctors' surgery events. The hall is also used for children's and adult private parties and ad hoc bookings._x000D_ The church employs one full time and one part time worker. There is a management committee of 14 and the church is supported by 75 volunteers. |
