Recipient Org: Description | The Lucy Rayner Foundation was set up in memory of Lucy Rayner who committed suicide at the age of 22 in 2012. _x000D_ The aims of the foundation are;_x000D_ To raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of depression in young adults_x000D_ To facilitate change in the way mental health is perceived by society_x000D_ To provide emotional support and education for young adults with mental health issues and their families_x000D_ To build emotional resilience in our young adults_x000D_ To enable young adults to thrive in our society_x000D_ To work alongside other charitable organisations who have the same objectives as our charity_x000D_ The Foundation has a management committee of 8 and 5 additional volunteers. There are no permanent employees but qualified councillors deliver programmes on an hourly rate. |
