Recipient Org: Description Chiddingfold Baptist Church was established in 1904 and is situated on Woodside Road in the village of Chiddingfold in Waverley. As well as the traditional Sunday services held weekly at 10.30am and 6.30pm, Chiddingfold Baptist Church provides regular activities for young people via a weekly youth group and a monthly Sunday lunch for the over 60's. Throughout August the church also runs the Summer Zone programme, which provides weekly social activities for around 30 elderly people in the community. Other community organisations also use the church as a meeting place, including a mother and toddler group, a Women's Institute group and the Explorer Scouts. The church employs one full time member of staff and has 39 church members/volunteers.
