Recipient Org: Description Carer Support Elmbridge (CSE) is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee which commenced operation in 1995 and exists to support unpaid carers over the age of 18 living in Elmbridge who provide care for relatives (including children), friends or neighbours who have an illness or disability. _x000D_ Carers often suffer from isolation, financial hardship and health problems; the need therefore exists to provide carers with information to help them with their caring role. CSE provides advice, general support, emotional support, advocacy, newsletters and e-bulletins, training events, social activities and days out, as well as help with obtaining benefits and accessing services. Where appropriate, the charity undertakes home visits._x000D_ The charity is governed by a Board of 8 Trustees, employs 2 full-time and 3 part-time staff, and benefits from the support of 13 volunteers.
