Recipient Org: Description Sandy Hill Community Bungalow supports local residents by offering inclusive activities which support the education, training, and employment, cultural and recreational needs of the community. The centre provides space for the Hale Sure Start Centre, Citizens Advice outreach, a youth group, an employment opportunities group, a social group for older people and a job club. Community activities include Maths tuition and English classes, Hale School drop in for parents with children with learning difficulties, Health Visitors weighing clinic, Children's' Services Contact Sessions and Exercise classes such as Yoga and First Steps Virgin Care Emotions Gym and a Weight Management group._x000D_ In addition, for the second year the Bungalow will be participating in Adult Learners Week, is now running a garden project to develop a community garden on site, will run a fun day in June, and having joined a number of local organisations to start developing a Timebank for Farnham is hosting Timebank._x000D_ The centre is a registered charity with a Board of 10 Trustees. There is one part-time staff member, supported by 3 volunteers.
