Recipient Org: Description | Ewell Christian Fellowship Trust was established in 1990 and is a registered charity in this name. It operates under the working name 'Generation Church'. The Church is based at West Ewell Infants School on Ruxley Lane, with Generation Resource Centre (comprising the church offices and a small meeting room) located in a separate building at the rear of the school site. The Church provides outreach activities into the local community. This has included the Lighthouse Education Project for children and young people who are home-schooled, as well as those at risk of exclusion from school and children from local traveller families. Current projects include Friday Friends - A project for isolated over-60s which provides a place where people can come and enjoy company, crafts, games and talks; Epsom & Ewell Foodbank, running once a week from 5 centres (Tadworth, Ewell, Banstead, Epsom and Leatherhead); and a young peoples (11-17) club that has been running weekly for many years which is open to the whole community. |
