Funding the Future (360G-CR-2101902)
It's Your Choice' runs support services for young people aged 12-25 years old who live in the New Forest. It has a base in Totton, but reaches young people in villages and rural areas by operating outreach hubs across the Forest. It offers what it calls an 'open door' for young people in need; this includes a counselling service, a drop-in for young people who are homeless, support for young people in debt, and work around drug and alcohol misuse. Every year it supports hundreds of young people who find themselves in crisis, needing free and impartial help. The grant will contribute to two staff roles who will help to fundraise for these vital services, through community fundraising, social media and links with grant-making trusts.
