Vulnerable young people experiencing mental health or emotional problems can find it difficult to access statutory counselling services. Interchange Sheffield CIC has a strong track record in providing counselling support to marginalised young people in a range of settings in the community including schools and youth clubs. This grant will help it continue providing much needed one-to-one support to young people with complex needs and equip them to access further support from the local mental health services. Young people will feel confident to use local support agencies and they will have the help they need to improve their mental health and emotional well-being and build their resilience.
