Women who experience domestic abuse often stay with their violent partner because of the addition of financial abuse in which the perpetrator takes complete control of the household finances including any money the woman may earn.The project works with women who have experienced domestic abuse, helping them to increase financial awareness, knowledge and skills, giving them the confidence and financial independence to leave the abusive relationship.
