Burtonwood Sewing (360G-CheshireCF-A457088)

Burtonwood Sewing Group provide weekday sewing classes and offer a warm welcome to all, promote greater social inclusion and resilience in the local community. They wish to continue with their work and would also like to expand activity to provide specialist sessions for children and young people, incorporating sewing techniques into art, craft and textile activities as a means of increasing engagement with young people, developing their skills and contributing to the local community and hope this will encourage them to stay away from anti-social behaviour. The grant will be spent on core costs for the organisation as outlined in the project budget.
