| Recipient Org: Description | We are a local Cancer self support group. Our members are people who are living with, victims of, are a carer of or anyone who has been affected by cancer. Living on the Isles of Scilly with a dreadful illness can be very lonely and isolating. I was only diagnosed early this year & wanted to start a support group as Macmillan are not on the Islands. We have monthly meetings & have when we are financially able do nice things such as afternoon tea & have speakers visit, ie nutricianalists & alternative pain experts. |
