Recipient Org: Description | Affiliated to the ECB, ECCB and CCC,H&TCC has three core aims: 1. To promote and encourage the playing of cricket 2. To provide social and recreational facilities for its members 3. To promote the development of cricket in the communities of Castle Point Borough. Formed in 1946;founder member of the Shepherd Neame Essex League and the Essex Sunday Leagues, the club runs four Saturday and one Sunday senior teams during the cricket season. The club also caters for age-group cricket and coaching at U11, U13, U15, U16 and U18 ages. Teams participate in South Essex District Cricket Board Junior competitions. The club runs indoor nets and coaching for Juniors throughout the winter months. The club is open all year round for all members and runs a men's and women's darts team who play in the local South East Essex Leagues. Our aim is to become the Sports and Community Hub for John Burrows Ground by providing access to new quality facilities for football, cricket and community group usage. |
