Recipient Org: Description Beacon House was established in 1996 to provide services for the relief of poverty and sickness for people who are homeless and at risk of homelessness. From our primary healthcare centre we provide a nurse-led clinic and holistic services to improve people’s health and well-being. Services include showers, laundry, clothing, an IT suite, a postal address, hot meals and refreshments. Our Occupational Therapy service supports therapies and activities to improve people’s resilience and self-esteem; to develop skills and improve their social networks. Since 2016 we have provided supported move-on accommodation in partnership with another charity.
