Recipient Org: Description | In a nutshell, our mission is to develop tomorrow's potential engineers, technologists and scientists by enabling, stimulating and fostering high-quality and inclusive provision for science and engineering in education, and it is the above primarily for which we request assistance. Additionally, we underpin today's network for professionals and those with a general interest, advancing public understanding of science and engineering and their benefit to mankind, as well as celebrate and preserve yesterday's heritage, particularly that of Chelmsford's renowned engineering and industrial history. To achieve the above, we have a portfolio of activities which are generally improved year on year. These include symposia in the series "Engineering Our Future", interactive workshops in the series "My Smarter Essex", and our now legendary annual Schools Technology competition. |
