Recipient Org: Description | We aim to encourage an active life style for the over 50's. To achieve this we run specifically designed Aerobic Fitness Classes every Tuesday and Friday mornings. A one hour, informal table tennis and snooker session is offered before the Tuesday Aerobics Class. The club recognises that an active lifestyle involves more than physical activity and encourages members to join in a social gathering for refreshments following each class. In recent years the club has organised several coach outings visiting a variety of attractions & events in East Anglia and the SE England. The Club also organises a Christmas lunch for members at a local restaurant and a summer buffet with food donated by the members. We are also hoping to arrange a series of local walks ending at a point where refreshments are available for participants. |
