Recipient Org: Description Chess Homeless seeks to relieve homelessness and related hardship amongst single homeless adults in Chelmsford and Essex, through the provision of support services and temporary accommodation. We seek to help individuals address the issues that saw them become homeless. Through our Change Programme, we offer practical support, training and work opportunities which help to develop positive paths to independent living. We have six properties offering 32 individuals accommodation, from night shelter to move on properties. From December to February each year we provide an additional 10–14 bed spaces for rough sleepers.
