Clinical Trial Translational Lab (360G-GSTC-SPG00309)

£20,000

Assays using clinical material from patients in trials are increasingly required to inform key biological study endpoints. As a result there is a growing requirement for specialist and time-dependent sample preparation by skilled technical staff. To prevent complex sample handling becoming a rate-limiting step in increasing the number of trials available to patients at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospitals, funding is required for short-term support technical services. Establishing a dedicated clinical trial laboratory within the Cancer Centre Innovation Hub will benefit participating patients, by increasing opportunity to participate in trials, future patients, and Cancer Centre investigators.
