Recipient Org: Description | Our aim is to improve the quality of life for people of Alum Rock that suffer from economic and social deprivation by increasing aspirations; promoting opportunities and facilitating positive changes. We have priorities and main objectives over the next 3-4 years: our priority objectives are: promotion and awareness raising; improving access to services and the development of services which fill identified gaps. Our main objectives are: to encourage health and well-being through sports sessions and healthy eating programmes that will lead to an increase in confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of wellbeing amongst our target groups which include children and families, young people, carers, isolated and excluded individuals including the elderly, people with physical / mental / emotional issues; black and minority groups. |
