Recipient Org: Description | Aston Unity Cricket Club is a sports association in Tamworth that works with ages from 4-72. We offer Cricket coaching on Tuesdays from 6-9pm and Fridays from 6pm-8.30pm. During these sessions we have 2 qualified coaches from Warwickshire cricket club that coach our service users on how to play cricket. Many of the service users will take part in matches that are held once, sometimes twice per week. The Club is affiliated to the England and Wales Cricket Board through the Warwickshire Cricket Board. We are also one of the oldest cricket clubs in the UK. The club is also a member of The Spartans Unity Association. The Club is governed by a written constitution and a board of trustees. All coaches are subject to the ECB Safe Hands – Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children and any future versions of the policy. They are also fully DBS checked. |
