Our mission is to: - be a focal point and safe space for the whole community of Bilston; - cater to all ages, faiths and cultures; and - promote and facilitate inclusive activities that seek to meet the needs of local residents. To this end, our current projects include: - a weekly community/soup kitchen (a free hot lunch and a friendly chat for anyone living in the local community with food parcels and hygiene packs provided to those in situations of hardship) - a weekly job search and welfare advice drop-in - a weekly over 60's lunch club and bi-monthly craft and coffee morning - a weekly stay and play group - a bi-monthly youth club External providers also use our facilities to host activities free of charge for the local community. These include a weekly craft class and chair exercise class run by Kaleidoscope and a monthly dementia cafe run by the Alzheimer's Society. The Brittle Bone Society also use our facilities every 2 months to hold a support group for local families. We also make our facilities available to local organisations and groups to hire in order to deliver training, workshops and other community events such as jobs fairs.
