Recipient Org: Description CARES’ aims and objectives are identified through our agreed mission which recognises and values carers. We work to provide help and assistance and to improve the health and wellbeing and the quality of life of all unpaid family carers in Sandwell. We provide a Telephone Helpline Service for carers, an Information and Outreach Service for carers unable to leave the person they look after, a Carer Consultation Network for carers who want to have a say, a Hospital Support Service to raise the awareness of carers needs in the Acute Hospital setting, an Adult Guidance and Lifelong Learning Service and a Carer Support Project offering social and emotional support to carers. CARES is the recognised 'Carers Hub' for family carers in Sandwell; a central point of contact for all adult carers in the borough of Sandwell.
