Recipient Org: Description RAW Workshop is a fully equipped, woodworking operation and workshop, that provides productive employment, training and volunteering opportunities for people with learning disabilities and who are disabled and disadvantaged from Oxfordshire. We produce high quality garden furniture, animal habitats and a range of other wooden products. We improve the job prospects of people with physical disabilities, those with learning impairment and those people who face multiple issues and are disadvantaged in today’s labour market. The practical experience they gain gives our young trainees the opportunity to learn new skills in general employability, woodworking, manufacturing process, machining, transport/collections retail/customer service, stock management and team working in line with their aptitudes and capabilities. Individuals are able to progress at their own pace, thus achieving their maximum potential.
