Recipient Org: Description The Information Centre supplies transport timetables, leaflets etc and used as a base for our Good Neighbour Scheme. Our key aim is to operate as a support network for elderly/disabled residents in Kidlington and surrounding villages. We match volunteers to clients offering free services eg befriending, household tasks, gardening, shopping, dog walking etc. Currently we have 49 volunteers and 111 clients and these numbers continue to increase. Clients are referred from local housing associations, AGE UK etc. We are an important support network which if forced to close through lack of funding would cause hardship to the local elderly.
