Recipient Org: Description Chipping Norton Literary Festival hosts an annual festival that celebrates literature in all its forms. We aim to create and maintain lifelong readers. Each April we host events with over 80 authors to give talks and lectures on a huge variety of books for adults and young people. We run a comprehensive creative writing programme for schools throughout the year and a weekly reading project for people living with dementia. We are a community-based organisation comprised of a team of dedicated volunteers supported by local businesses and individuals who value ChipLitFest's contribution to the town and its residents.
