Recipient Org: Description The church obtained its charitable status in 2013 but has existed in Henley since 1884. Throughout its history it has established a reputation of reaching out into the local community and using its town centre facility for the benefit of the people of Henley. Within the aims of the church the vision of the cafe is: * To be a Caring Community * To Affirm and encourage * To provide Food for the whole family * To offer Education and training The cafe currently provides a safe environment for users and volunteers many of who are vulnerable. It offers a limited amount of training to volunteers but is an area that the Trustees and staff are keen to develop. It is known to be family friendly and is one of the cafes in Henley that welcomes and provides for children to eat and play. Cafe staff not only provide food and drinks but look out for those who might need help or support and can sit and talk or sign post people appropriately . Being the focal point of the centre, the cafe and acts as a reception for all the other activities and groups based in the centre.
