Recipient Org: Description We are a community garden open to all, aiming to improve community cohesion through gardening, outdoor activities, crafts and sustainability. We provide a safe space which offers more than a purely gardening experience. We bring together people of different ages, backgrounds and abilities to get active and experience nature, but also to share meals and work together, building community cohesion. We work with a wide range of user groups including people with learning disabilities and ex-offenders, by partnering with local charities. Our objectives are to build community; reduce environmental impact; improve nutritional health; create opportunity and create purposeful recreation.
