Recipient Org: Description | The organisation exists to support and serve the Christian community and be a good neighbour to people in need and challenge injustice. We work alone and with ecumenical/secular partners. We organise weekly lunches for older people, bible study, Good Companions, Men get Cooking, toddler/youth groups and craft groups. We participate in many village events. We liaise with many local community groups especially Churchill Minibus. We must retain reserves to pay for our priest and we fundraising for a major building and community hub project at our Banwell church, hence our need to keep extra reserves. |
