Recipient Org: Description A charity which aims to improve the experiences and opportunities open to the young people of South Bristol. We are a consortium of six schools and two local opportunity organisations (The Park in Knowle and Bristol City Community Club) and run a range of programmes specifically designed to encourage the development of young people in many different ways. For example, we currently run a widening participation programme in partnership with the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England. In addition, we run a speaking and listening programme funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation which currently has a cohort of 120 young people. We also have a youth board which plays a key role in our decision making as a charity and, with the help of our partners Youth Moves, we also run a range of open access youth provisions in schools.
