Recipient Org: Description Champions Fun Learning Centre is a registered charity and its aim is to provide educational support to children and young people in need. We fulfilled our aims by offering after school support for children and young people in our learning centre. We are opened 6 days weekly between 4pm - 8pm Mondays to Fridays and 10am - 4pm on Saturdays. We supplement their education primarily in Math, English and Sciences. A mixture of computer based activities, documentaries and popular children's educational programs are the core components of interactive sessions. All sessions include Maths, English, Science and other tailored activities for building key skills in addition and subtraction, money value, logic, reading, writing and literacy development. As well as helping our attendees to get an education and acquire training, this project builds character in every child that attends. We will also equip our library and encourage reading. The project will also helps young people to acquire basic life skills and increase their confidence levels.We help with job searches and career advice for young people and provide information on what is available in the areas of enterprise and employment after their education.
