Recipient Org: Description | Youth Moves is a youth work charity that is dedicated to improving the lives of young people aged 8-19 years old (and up to 25 for those with additional needs) from across South Bristol. We believe in the impact that great youth work relationships between young people and professional locally embedded, and culturally relevant, youth workers can make in the lives of young people. We deliver a wide range of activities including: - more targeted one-to-one mentoring provision; - traditional youth club opportunities giving young people somewhere safe to go and someone to talk to; - positive activities and holiday programmes including sports, and our music studio; - our Growing Resilient Communities and Urban Escape environmental themed projects; - programmes linking the informal education approach with mainstream education; - our volunteering and social action projects, mostly currently focussed around NCS delivery. |
