Recipient Org: Description Bath Bridge is an independent city-wide advisory group concerned with positioning Bath as a place with a dynamic, beautifully inventive future. It was developed in 2012 from the City Identity Project which involved a large group of Bath citizens. The Directors of Bath Bridge have expertise within industries including the arts, digital development, education, marketing and economic development. The purpose of Bath Bridge is to help bring the beautifully inventive identity of Bath to life by supporting and initiating relevant physical, economic and social projects. This list of current projects includes Mulberry Park Arts & Culture, from which this project has developed. Bath Bridge have worked closely on Mulberry Park Arts & Culture with Curo (who are the social landlords for 70% of the residents of Foxhill estate where this project is based, and have also provided funding for the first stage of this project). Bath Bridge supported Curo to commission an Art Plan for the Mulberry Park development and this project formed a part of the programme that has evolved from that Art Plan (written by Suzanne Heath). Other Bath Bridge projects include a Cultural and Creative Strategy; Bath Future Talent Programme; Craneworks; Live/work/play website; Economic Partnership and Public Services Board. The objectives of Bath Bridge's projects are to: - influence thinking about the city's future, in the areas of recreation, assembly, enterprise and learning - demonstrate what 'beautifully inventive' looks like through carefully selected projects - mobilise others to get involved in Bath's beautifully inventive future - illuminate the story of Bath's beautiful inventiveness Bath Bridges membership and wide network of local, national and international contacts bring world class expertise and advocacy to its activities.
