Recipient Org: Description Three Ways is an Academy Special Needs School; our Vision is 'Access to Achievement'. Our School provides a stimulating, creative learning environment for pupils aged between 3-19 years. We have 207 pupils on roll with a range of Special Needs, very complex needs and life threatening medical conditions. Three Ways School is a Centre of Expertise, providing quality, access and achievement. It is outward looking, inclusive and innovative in the education and service it provides. A skilled multi-professional team of staff offer a supportive environment where pupils access the curriculum and achieve success. By working together we can achieve our vision. Our approach is child-centred; it takes account of the differing abilities and experiences of children and endeavours to provide an education that is appropriate to individual pupil needs. It is our belief that the school should provide each child with the opportunity to develop and learn within a supportive atmosphere, whilst fostering positive attitudes to learning that lead to success and achievement. In order to fulfil this intention, we work in close collaboration with parents/carers and the wider community and seek to develop every aspect of the individual; physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, moral and cultural. The school has a positive ethos where mutual respect and understanding towards all members of the school and the community are encouraged. We have high expectations and by ensuring opportunities of access we strive for 'achievement for all'.
