Recipient Org: Description | Mind your music aim to promote better mental health through the creation and performance of music. Mind your music work with people who have had mental health difficulties in the Bristol area. We run music workshops, record cd’s, put on gigs and help with individual music tuition. These activities are available to anyone with mental health difficulties regardless of whether or not they have any previous musical experience. Our workshops provide a safe, supportive environment for those struggling with mental health difficulties. It is a space where they can engage in meaningful, positive activity. Our group works with people who are often isolated and marginalized and provides an opportunity that may not otherwise be available to them. To our knowledge we are the only group in the Bristol area providing this activity |
