Recipient Org: Description Bath Share & Repair aims: Reduce the carbon footprint of individuals through sharing resources and skills, This will reduce purchasing and manufacturing and dumping into landfill. Objectives: 1. Provide the facilities and opportunities for people to have electrical, household, bikes and clothing repaired. 2. Upskill individuals to maintain items and keep them longer 3 Provide the facility and opportunity for people to share and borrow items that are not required on a daily basis 4. Provide a system and facility for people to share excess food We will do this through the following activities: a) Running Repair Cafes at least twice a month, where people can bring items to be repaired and learn more about how to repair them . b) Run through 'HOW TO' sessions on how to maintain bikes, use a sewing machine or power tools. c) Develop A Library of Things for people to share resources by borrowing items rather than purchasing. d) Develop ways for people to pick excess food from gardens and allotments and share excess food.
