| Recipient Org: Description | Adaptive Martial Arts CIC provides weekly and unique classes and 121's for people who are disabled, injured or suffering ill health which are tailored to the individual needs Our aim is to promote the physical, mental and social benefits that exercise can bring and use martial arts as part of that. We seek to build confidence in individuals who may not have otherwise had the chance to learn skills which empower them. We also have a strong ethos of doing things to the best of our ability and only allowing the most experienced and qualified coaches teach our students. This is an effort to ensure their safety and gain trust. Adaptive Martial Arts currently provides a class every Saturday in Heneleaze, Bristol and 121 lessons in Bath. We are just about to launch our class in Bath. |
