Recipient Org: Description Evolve Music is a community music charity which aims to provide fully inclusive creative music workshops to vulnerable or are hard to reach groups of people to support the challenges that they often face in their lives. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience group music-making without any barriers. Our strategic objectives are: - To deliver high quality musical opportunities for Early Years, Young People and Community Groups. - To use music as a tool where needed to promote positive social, emotional and physical wellbeing. Moving forward into 2018, examples of two focus areas will be the development of creative musical opportunities for young people with special educational needs and disabilities in and around the Somer Valley area as well as developing a project to support group interaction and communication in partnership with Action on Hearing Loss. Examples of our work to date: Our weekly 'Explorers' early years programme, taking interactive music sessions into Radstock and Peasedown Children Centres. Creative composition workshops with SWALLOW Youth Club for their SWALLOW Tales Two project. Creative composition project with Crowdys Hill School (SEND) Taster sessions with SEND Adults from both Action on Hearing Loss and Wiltshire and Swindon Users Network.
