Hebridean History in the Digital Age (360G-SCVO-a11b0000001SfpkAAC)
The project will utilise the network and contacts built up by the Hebridean Connections project to identify people who may benefit from training in basic digital skills. Training events will then be held throughout Lewis and Harris, with a particular emphasis on reaching out to remote rural communities. An important feature of the training will be the the ability to conduct sessions in Gaelic as well as English, which will target those who may be better able to engage with digital technology by receiving training through the Gaelic medium.
