Recipient Org: Description The overall aim of Ringmer Disability Social Club is an independent social club for men and women aged 20yrs upward, no upper age limit. The Club is open to Ringmer and the Lewes District area. We are a self help club for people with disabilities and their family and friends. We meet monthly at present but would like to have 2 meetings a month and the occasional outing. At our socials a light lunch is provided giving everyone a chance to chat. A very special time. After lunch we have a Quiz or speaker. An occasional game of New Age Kurling. We always welcome new members. · As a self help group the socials are when any problems or good news is shared. We help to tackle loneliness and isolation (each member can phone members of the committee at any time).
