The aim of the Ouse Valley Cycle Network is to create a safe shared route from Newhaven to Lewes along the River Ouse. The first section was opened in 2013 and the route is now half complete. Funding was provided to support costs associated in helping them to move on to the next stages including a detailed planning application, engineering costs and surveys.
