The Trojan Candidate (360G-Wellcome-203667_Z_16_Z)

£10,000

A week before launch, two teams of astronauts selected for the first privately funded mission to Mars go into quarantine together. When the main crew’s commander gets injured, the backups are tapped to fly out instead. Gradually discovering the real reasons behind each of her colleagues’ motivation to leave Earth, Grace begins to question her place on this mission. Unlike most films tackling space exploration, 'The Trojan Candidate' is a psychological drama focusing on the inner-workings of people who put themselves forward for such dangerous missions. The film offers a realistic, intimate glimpse into their individual fragility, vulnerability and co-dependence.
