ITS - Compass4D Project (360G-cabinetoffice-GA-060716)
The purpose of the grant is to build on the work already done in Newcastle on vehicle to infrastructure technologies as part of the EU Project Compass4D. The work will: equip a major bus route in to the city;? develop further use cases for V2I to be deployed as part of the UK Collaboratorium for Research in Infrastructure and Cities (UKCRIC) project;? explore the potential to provide Cooperative ITS for vulnerable road users, and? provide detailed analysis of the impact of the deployment of these technologies.
