Recipient Org: Description We are a wholly voluntary group supporting Vale House, Oxford (which is a registered charity that provides care for sufferers from end stage dementia and similar conditions and is located in Sandford on Thames in Oxfordshire) by providing extra equipment and various small items to enhance the quality of life of residents throughout the year. We do this by holding regular small fundraising events throughout the year. Our aim is to improve the lives those with dementia who are nearing the end of their lives and who need specialist care; this includes helping the families of those suffering from this debilitating condition. In the past, for example, we provided Vale House with a hairdressing facility, to enable all the residents to have the appropriate hair care on the premises.
