The annual membership fee of £75 is prohibitively expensive for some of the young players and their families. Each year the club offers 5 bursaries funded through its general reserves. However, as the club has grown these five bursaries are not enough to help all the young people that need our support. £750 from Oxfordshire Community Foundation would pay for the membership of 10 more young people from deprived backgrounds allowing them to play foottball at our club. The membership fees cover all equipment, team kit, pitch hire, and associated match costs.

Recipient Org: Description Founded in 2001, Hinksey Park FC prides itself on being a friendly, inclusive Club providing a good nurturing environment for boys and girls keen to play football. The Club is proud to have been awarded Charter Standard by the FA. Currently there are now 13 teams running , from under 6 age group upto under 16 age group . Each team has around 18 boys , mainly from the local areas including Iffley and Cowley . Teams upto the age of age group 9 play friendly games against other Oxfordshire teams and train once a week , while the older age groups are all involved in the Oxford Mail Boys League . The club is run entirely by volunteers , with managers , coaches and assistant coaches for each age group .
