Recipient Org: Description Jacari's primary aim is to increase educational participation and engagement among children in Oxford for whom English is an additional language. It does this by training more than 250 volunteer university students and coordinating their weekly home tutoring to almost 300 local children who speak English as an additional language. These students have been identified by their schools as pupils who would benefit from regular additional teaching in order to achieve their academic potential, but whom would otherwise be unable to access this support.
