Active MK Exercise Referral Scheme is a joint venture between Milton Keynes Council and Milton Keynes Primary Care Trust. The scheme allows health professionals to refer suitable patients to leisure centres across Milton Keynes to start a tailor-made programme of activities to help improve their health. With help from a Lottery grant seven Exercise Professionals will attend training on how to run the sessions and the group will promote the scheme to the local community with flyers and posters.
