The Swansea Centre For Deaf People will expand its activities in Swansea in order to offer increased services to both the deaf community and also the wider community. The grant will be used primarily to pay for the salaries of a part-time centre manager and a part-time caretaker. The centre manager will develop new activities such as British Sign Language (BSL) courses, deaf youth-focused activities, hobbies and crafts, as well as promote the use of centre to other organisations.
